COMPOSITIONS/ARRANGEMENTS
I am involved in writing, recording and
performing with my own latin jazz band, Que Barbara.
I have written, arranged and performed with Roberto Pla's
Latin Jazz Ensemble. For channel 4, I wrote the music for
a documentary and a programme called ‘It's a Girl’.
I was involved in the horn writing, arranging and performing,
for the following top albums:
Blow Monkeys: Choices, Springtime for the World
Paul Weller's Style Council: Cafe Bleu
On commission I have composed, arranged and performed salsa
music for the album ‘Everybody Salsa’ on Avid
Records. A further commission included ‘Mambo Bambo’,
which is being performed regularly by the Vortex Foundation
Big Band.
I have composed various children's piano
books, devised a children's learning method for piano, and
also completed a set of arrangements for four trumpets.
